Yes. Every email sent or received by Pacific Online is scanned for viruses using a proprietary scanning technique. Pacific Online is able to identify threats not yet recognized by traditional virus scanners.

If a virus is found the email containing the virus is automatically deleted.  Any emails containing encrypted zip files will be deleted, as this is one of the most common methods for passing on viruses.
