Pacific Online is pleased to announce a new feature added to the Domain Management Console. Domain Forwarding will allow you to redirect all web traffic for your domain to the URL you specify. When a domain is set to forward a visitor to another page, the domain's name does not stay in the web browser's URL bar. Instead, the new page's URL is displayed. Pacific Online is pleased to announce an increase in our webmail storage. Each mailbox has now been increased to 1GB of data. There is no pooled limits for an entire domain - each box is allowed 1GB of space, regardless of the number of accounts. In the early hours of Thursday October 15th, one Windows 2000 server failed during our regular maintenance. The server proved unrecoverable, and all sites were moved to a comparable system late Thursday night. All data was restored via backup, and ODBC requests etc were manually added on Friday, October 16th. When one of our gateway servers was patched last night, the spam filters on that server were set to default controls. 50% of your spam was still filtered, but you may be seeing higher than usual spam delivered between 2 am and 7am PST this morning. All settings have been restored - everything should act as normal going forward.
